Please be aware there is a national issue with Vodafone's network calling Landline phones. Therefore if you try to ring the Surgery you will be able to hear us however we cannot here you. Please try to use an alternative number if possible, if this is not then our receptionists will try to call you back.

In May we had 302 appointments that were not attended. This is equates to 3,830 minutes. This is unfortunately an increase of 64 appointments compared to last month. If you cannot attend please cancel your appointment! Thank you.

Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to attend the surgery and fill out the required form, the practice nurse will then contact you to attend the clinic for any required vaccinations. The form will ask you to confirm the countries and areas you are travelling to and any activities you will partake in.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to complete the Travel vaccine form as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as an appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS, if you require any private vaccinations you may need to attend a private clinic, the practice nurse will advise you on this.

If you are travelling to Europe a very useful booklet has been published with advice and guidance to help you get the most out of your holiday. To visit please click:- http://ec.europa.eu/publications/booklets/eu_glance/86/en.pdf (this is a large document and may take a minute or two to view)
