We are an accredited research practice and are currently taking part in the following research:

DISCOVER ME - Join a nationwide research study that aims to analyse the health and genetic information of thousands of  people. Are you over 18 years old and interested, then sign up – you will sign up, have a mouth swab taken for your DNA sample and then the study team will follow your health for 20 years. There is no upper age limit.

 

 

GSK RSV   An epidemiological study to assess the disease burden of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) associated acute respiratory infection (ARI) in adults ≥ 50 years of age during two consecutive RSV seasons in the United States (US) and Europe

 

 

SAFER – Screening for Atrial Fibrillation with ECG to Reduce stroke – a feasibility studylooking at the use of a small device to take home to do your own ECGs to see if a national screening programme could detect the incidence of Atrial Fibrillation reduce strokes

 

 

 

VESALIUS-   A Study to evaluate the Impact of Evolocumab ( a once a week injection) on Major Cardiovascular Events In Patients at High Cardiovascular Risk Without Prior Myocardial Infarction or Stroke.

IAM -A very brief face to face intervention, followed by a text message and/or app intervention to support medication adherence in people prescribed treatment for hypertension in primary care.
