Please be aware there is a national issue with Vodafone's network calling Landline phones. Therefore if you try to ring the Surgery you will be able to hear us however we cannot here you. Please try to use an alternative number if possible, if this is not then our receptionists will try to call you back.

In May we had 302 appointments that were not attended. This is equates to 3,830 minutes. This is unfortunately an increase of 64 appointments compared to last month. If you cannot attend please cancel your appointment! Thank you.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can make a repeat prescription request to the surgery in a number of waymulticolour_pillss:

  • online via the link at the top of this page. Please register before using the service, you will need to bring proof of identity and address with you to the surgery when registering.
  • by post or in person by leaving a note or the tear-off slip from your last prescription and ticking the required medication. If you would like the surgery to post your prescription to you, please enclose a stamp address envelope.

Prescription requests will not be taken over the telephone, (unless you are housebound) as this can lead to mistakes and blocks the telephone lines.

We require 3 working days if you wish to collect the prescription from the surgery. Allow 3-4 working days if you plan to collect from your designated pharmacy. You are able to place your request for a repeat prescription 14 days ahead of the due date.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
