We’re excited to let you know that our new phone system will be installed on Wednesday 12th at approximately 13:00.
During this time, we will not be able to receive incoming calls. It is expected that this will be for approximately 15 mins.
This installation is essential to get our upgraded system live as quickly as possible, as we’ve been advising patients over the past few months. The new system will be a significant improvement, including a call back function—so you won’t have to wait on hold!
While we hope this upgrade will help, it won’t solve all the challenges we face. Demand for our services continues to outstrip supply, and we can only provide the best possible care by working together.
Here’s how you can help:
- Avoid calling at 08:30 unless you need an urgent same-day appointment.
- Call in the afternoon for test results or routine bookings.
- Use our online pre-bookable form for non-urgent appointments to keep phone lines clear.
- Consider other NHS-approved options, such as:

• NHS 111 for non-urgent issues
• Your local pharmacy under the NHS Pharmacy First service
The installation team is highly experienced and has been rolling out this system across Norfolk. They understand how vital it is to complete the work efficiently and with minimal disruption.
