School Lane SurgeryWe would like to bring to your attention the relationship between School Lane Surgery and School Lane Pharmacy located within the surgery building. While the pharmacy operates independently, sharing our premises does not mean that the surgery has control over its operations.
We understand that there may be times when you experience challenges with the pharmacy services, and we want to assure you that we are committed to working together with them to address any issues that may arise. However, it is important to note that the pharmacy and the surgery are separate entities, and as such, the surgery staff do not have authority over the pharmacy’s operations.
Over the past week, we have seen an increase in patients expressing frustration or anger towards our reception staff or phone team regarding pharmacy-related matters. We would like to remind our patients that it is not acceptable to direct such frustration or anger towards our staff. The staff have a right to come to work without having to face abuse that sadly a minority of pharmacy customers have directed towards them this week.
Our reception staff and phone team are here to assist you with appointments, queries, and general support related to the services provided by the surgery. While we empathise with any inconvenience you may experience with the pharmacy and will help where possible, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in directing pharmacy-related concerns to the pharmacy staff directly.
