School Lane SurgeryAs of 29th November 2024, we want to be open and honest about the availability of pre-bookable GP appointments at School Lane Surgery.
We understand how important it is to see or speak to a GP as soon as possible, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise wait times. However, the reality is that demand for appointments continues to exceed the number of slots we have available.
Appointment Availability at a Glance:
- Face-to-Face Appointments: Over the next 22 days, there are 22 face-to-face appointments currently available across our team of GPs.
- Telephone Appointments: Over the same period, there are 25 telephone appointments currently available.
Please note, these numbers are correct at the time of writing, but they may change as appointments are booked or released. This does not include same-day appointments triaged by our GP-led on-call hub.
Help us to help you. In November alone, 30 GP appointments were lost because patients didn’t attend. These missed appointments could have been offered to others in need. If you can no longer make your appointment, please let us know. We can always use appointments, even if they’re cancelled at the last minute.
We’re working hard to meet your needs and offer as many appointments as possible. We’re currently interviewing for more GPs and Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioners. Additionally, we have Nurse interviews next week to recruit into the Nurse Team.
