Are you unhappy with the care or treatment you have received from an NHS service? You have the right to make a complaint and to be supported while doing so.
The NHS Complaints Advocacy Service provides free, independent and confidential support to people who want to raise concerns about NHS care or treatment provided or funded by the NHS.
Who can we help
We support anyone in Norfolk who wishes to make a complaint about NHS services. Whether you are complaining for yourself or on behalf of someone else, our advocates are here to guide you through the process.
An NHS Complaints Advocate will
- Listen carefully to your concerns
- Help you make a complaint about NHS care or treatment
- Explain how the NHS complaints process works
- Answer your questions and outline your options
- Provide information and practical self help tools
- Offer as much or as little support as you need
- Signpost you to other local support services if appropriate
We are here to empower you to have your voice heard.
Please note that the service cannot provide help with legal matters or compensation claims. If your issue relates to legal action, we can help signpost you to appropriate services.
Information is available in a variety of languages and formats including large print, Easy Read, audio and video. We also have access to translation and interpreting services, including British Sign Language support. Communication toolkits and Makaton are available where needed.
