Appointments
You are able to request an appointment in the following ways:
- By visiting our Consulting Room.
- Via our online services. If you are not registered to use this service, please complete our Register for Online Services form.
A doctor or nurse can be seen between 08:30 and 18:20, Monday to Friday.
Urgent Appointments
All patients requesting to see a doctor the same day are added onto the ‘triage list’ for a call back from a practitioner. They will assess the degree of urgency of the problem, and allocate the patient to the most appropriate medical professional for treatment.
For this service to run efficiently, it is advisable that you arrange an appointment with the practice and do not arrive without doing so, as this will only delay your assessment and treatment. We do not provide a sit and wait service.
Our triage times are from 08:30 – 13:00, Monday to Friday.
Please arrive at least five minutes before your appointment time. If you arrive late the GP or nurse may not be able to see you.
Medical Advice
If you require non urgent medical advice from a doctor, please complete our Get Help form.
It may also be possible to arrange a routine telephone appointment for the doctor to call you back with any advice, or to answer any queries you may have.
Clinical Photographs
Photos sent to the practice may be stored on the patient’s record. If you have any specific objections, please contact the practice immediately.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Improved Access
Thetford and Watton GPs are taking part in a project to improve patient access to primary care services for their patients, by working together for the benefit of their patients. Please visit our Improved Access page for further information.
