Our reception team is made up of 8 full time, 4 part time receptionists and an reception supervisor.
Overall, they provide an important link for patients with the practice and are the initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results, and they are also able to direct you to the right healthcare professional depending on your health issue or query.
Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses, as well as performing other important tasks. These include issuing repeat prescription, and making sure your requests are sent to the appropriate member of the team.
Our admin team is made up of 10 administrators and an administration supervisor.
The job roles carried out by this team include scanning any incoming correspondence into patient records, summarising all records to maintain up to date records, processing referrals, private work, IT issues and recalls.
