Off on an Adventure? Don’t Forget Your Travel Vaccinations!

Planning a trip abroad? Whether you’re heading off on a beach break, jungle trek, or an exotic city escape – make sure your travel plans include a quick visit to our Travel Vaccination Clinic!

We’re here to help you stay safe and healthy on your travels with expert advice and essential vaccinations – all arranged through Watton Medical Practice on behalf of School Lane Surgery.

Why book early?
To be fully protected, we recommend completing your travel risk assessment form at least six weeks before you fly. Some vaccines require multiple doses, and we want to make sure you’re covered in good time.

Running short on time? Don’t worry – we usually hold a small stock of Hepatitis A, Tetanus, and Typhoid vaccines, which means we may still be able to help if your trip is coming up fast.

How it works:
Simply fill out our travel risk assessment form (the more detail, the better!) and our team will guide you through the rest. Appointments are held at Watton Medical Practice, and we’ll tailor your care based on your destination, trip length, and planned activities.

The form can be found here: Travel risk assessment

Most vaccinations provided for travel are classed as private as they are not covered by the NHS which means that they are chargeable, and some may require a private prescription and a separate charge at the pharmacy. If you have any queries, then the team at the clinic will discuss this with you and let you know all the costs before you go ahead.

Replies from us might land in your spam or junk folder – keep an eye out so you don’t miss important updates.

So, before you pack your sun tan lotion, check your data allowance and zip up that suitcase, tick off this essential travel to-do! Your adventure starts with peace of mind – and a quick jab or two.
